A handheld digital microscope is a great tool to instantly see magnified objects right on your computer screen. You can take pictures, record video and also annotate right away.

Models are available for basic requirements, for general purpose use, and with special features for specific purpose uses.

Optional metallic housings suit these models to professional use and have a robust feel that cannot be found on similar handheld microscopes of this kind. Thery provide extra protection of the microscope from the elements and retain its looks even after heavy usage of the microscope.

Models with long working distance optics allow users to operate at a safe distance where necessary or working where depths are encountered.

Models with a strobosmicroscope mode can capture fast moving objects as well as ease of use providing a unique microscope experience.  When the strobomicroscope mode is off, it still can maintain a refresh rate of 60fps whether the LED lights are on or off.

Models with adjustable polarizer can adjust the amount of glare that reflects from what you are viewing, so you can see fine details of surfaces by fully or partially removing the reflection of semi-transparent materials like jewelry, glass, or plastic.  It is also ideal for examining highly reflective materials, such as metals or solder joints.

Models with UV lighting only or with both UV and white light, offer opportunities to view materials that would otherwise prove difficult to work with.  With the dual light systems, you can switch between standard white LED lighting and UV LED lighting as required to illuminate florescent objects under magnification.  UV illumination at 400nm or 375nm is available.  IR illumination at 850nm is also available on specific models.
