Adelab Scientific was formed in 1986, by Keith Plomer with the view to establishing a local scientific supply company to supply his many existing customers with high quality laboratory products and services at competitive prices.
Today, Adelab Scientific employs seven people specialising in different fields of interest including molecular biology and biotechnology, analytical chemistry, chromatography and environmental monitoring.
We offer a large variety of products from local, interstate and overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
We are Australian direct importers for products manufactured by Upchurch Scientific, Matreya, New Era Pump Systems, Thomson Instrument Company, Control Company, Cellogel Electrophoresis, Chromtech and others.
We act as distributors for many other major Australian companies including Millipore, SGE Analytical and Grace Davison. We also have strong associations with reputable importers such as Edwards Instrument Company, Fisher Biotech, HD Scientific and Bio-Cabinets for whom we act as South Australian distributors. All of these companies have extensive product portfolios to which we have access.
